SUSPENSIONS & CANCELLATIONS: We understand that from time to time you may not be able to train due to holidays, rest periods, becoming sick or injured or wish to cancel your membership altogether. The following rules apply to suspensions and cancellations.
SUSPENSIONS:
- Memberships can be suspended at any time with a 7 days notice period
- 4 week maximum suspension per year
- A one off administration fee of $20 for each suspension
- Suspensions cannot be backdated
- Pro-rata suspensions are not allowed (ie, outside of the normal fortnightly billing cycle)
- Suspension periods will not count towards your contractual minimum term and will extend any applicable minimum term by the number of suspended weeks taken
- Membership may not be suspended during the notice period of a cancellation request.
CANCELLATIONS:
- Must complete your minimum contract term
- Minimum 30 days notice in writing only
- Will not accept verbal agreements via phone or text message
- $0 cancellation fee
- If cancelled membership and you sign up again you will sign to the most current membership offering.
CANCELLATION WITHIN CONTRACT TIME:
- Cancellation fee: 50% of the remainder of contract value in FULL.
AN EXIT FEE DOES NOT APPLY UNDER THE FOLLOWING CIRCUMSTANCES:
- Sickness / injury resulting in not being able to train for remainder of contract (must provide doctor's certificate).
